Purple is also prominent in the Tabernacle and Temple and the high priests’ garments.  Purple is a mixture of blue and red.  It is the color of royalty.  So, to become heavenly royalty, one must have faith and sacrifice.  To become heavenly, but not royalty, one must have faith.  Sacrifice is hard.
