The Middle

The middle of the bible by chapter is Psalm 118.  Verse 8 is interesting:  “It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.”  There are 594 chapters before psalm 118 and 594 after.  Psalm 117 is the shortest psalm, and 119 is the longest.  Above is quoted psalm 118:8.  There are 1188 chapters excluding psalm 118.  The middle of the bible by verse is Psalm 103:1-2:  “Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits.”

There are 31,102 verses in the bible, 1189 chapters, and 66 books.
