“In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” John 14:2
Men go to great lengths to provide houses for their wives. Houses are marketed primarily to women with emphasis on kitchens and bathrooms. This also applied to Jesus’ Bride. The temple had possibly 47 rooms (the exact number of side rooms is not given). Ezekiel’s temple will have possibly 82 rooms. Jesus referred to the temple as his Father’s house.
“To those who sold doves he said, “Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!” John 2:16
Did Jesus go to heaven to build a mansion as a gift for his bride upon his return? Imagine how many rooms the heavenly temple will have! Jesus will provide for his Bride better then any earthly man. He’s a lot richer!
