Rather than thinking of us having a sinful nature, it’s helpful to think of ourselves having a dying nature. Sin is what we do to try to avoid death. Except that it accelerates death. Being kind and the like delays death, however little. When God gives us food that allows us not to age, it will be possible to learn how not to sin. But,

“…but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more…” Romans 5:20
Is there more grace in our world? I would argue yes. Since population is increasing, there is more living than dying (sinning) occurring for mankind. This may not be the case for animals. Perhaps this is the future for our vast universe. There may be lots of room to increase life for mortals on other planets. Who knows?
