Solomon’s two coronations

“When David was old and full of years, he made his son Solomon king over Israel. He also gathered together all the leaders of Israel, as well as the priests and Levites. The Levites thirty years old or more were counted, and the total number of men was thirty-eight thousand.” 1 Chronicles 23:1-3

“Then they acknowledged Solomon son of David as king a second time, anointing him before the Lord to be ruler and Zadok to be priest. So Solomon sat on the throne of the Lord as king in place of his father David. He prospered and all Israel obeyed him. All the officers and warriors, as well as all of King David’s sons, pledged their submission to King Solomon. The Lord highly exalted Solomon in the sight of all Israel and bestowed on him royal splendor such as no king over Israel ever had before.” 1 Chronicles 29:22-25

Solomon here is a type of Christ. Jesus will be made king twice. Once secretly, known only to the priests and Levites, or the bride and bridesmaids of Christ in heaven. And a second time before all the people. This will happen after everyone has been resurrected, both in heaven and on earth, so that, “at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:10-11
