Mia Ton Sabbaton

These are the greek words often translated as first day of the week in reference to the resurrection of Jesus.  The problem is that it means the first of the Sabbaths.  There was a seven Sabbath count until Shavuot.  The women came to the tomb at dawn of the first of the seven weekly Sabbaths before Pentecost.  This is important for typology, since the church will be raised at the beginning of the Sabbath Millennium.  More discussion:  http://torahtimes.org/commentary/refuted.htm
