Bible Study Seattle

Today, many people do not have carved idols.  But sometimes a life change can reveal idols in our hearts.  One example is an inheritance.  One day working hard to scrimp and save, and the next day being very close to financial independence.  Suddenly you need something new to focus on.  Or, how about kids?  Years of work, work, and missed sleep.  Then suddenly they move out.  Now what?  We must be careful not to cultivate idols.  We must keep our eyes on the main thing, which is eternal life with our Lord.
