Some prophecy seems obvious, like Daniel or Revelation.  What is less appreciated is that large portions of the old testament are prophecy.  Some are of the opinion that all the stories are also prophecy.  Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, the Exodus, Ruth, Samson, Esther, Saul, David, Solomon, etc.; all these stories and more are prophecies.  Esther has a couple references to the third day, which pictures restitution in the third day from Christ – 3,000 years.
