“Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “You shall also say to the sons of Israel:

‘Anyone from the sons of Israel or from the strangers residing in Israel who gives any of his children to Molech, shall certainly be put to death; the people of the land shall stone him with stones.  I will also set My face against that man and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given some of his children to Molech, so as to defile My sanctuary and to profane My holy name.  If the people of the land, however, should ever disregard that man when he gives any of his children to Molech, so as not to put him to death, then I Myself will set My face against that man and against his family, and I will cut off from among their people both him and all those who play the prostitute with him, by playing the prostitute with Molech.” Leviticus 20:1-5

“For Solomon became a follower of Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and of Milcom the abhorrent idol of the Ammonites.  So Solomon did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, and did not follow the Lord fully, as his father David had done.  Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh, the abhorrent idol of Moab, on the mountain that is east of Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abhorrent idol of the sons of Ammon.” 1 Kings 11:5-7

Child sacrifice is mentioned in ancient times. But does it continue in our day? Certainly abortion comes close, but what about actual live child sacrifice? Some think it still occurs in secret. Time will tell. God abhors child sacrifice. Satan loves it.
