“For the wages of sin is death.” Romans 6:23
“for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23
All have sinned so all will die, but what about Jesus? If he had not died by crucifixion, would he have lived forever? Jesus was the unique admixture of perfect seed and imperfect egg.
Although Jesus did not sin, his body was a blend of the perfect and imperfect. He ate corrupted food from a corrupted world. He did not have access to the Trees of Life. Of course, God could have worked a miracle to sustain him. It was necessary for Jesus to experience our fallen world (and body) so that he could relate to us.
