Many Christians are familiar with John 3:16:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”

Note that it does not say “For God so loved the believers…” or “For God so loved the elect…” God so loved the world; that’s everybody! “For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.” 1 Corinthians 15:22

“Whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” Belief isn’t mere intellectual agreement but belief and actions that aligns with Jesus. “You believe that there is one God.  Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.” James 2:19
