God has provided a judgment of parents in their kids. The kids mimic the parents behaviors and speech. This provides a mirror that is sometimes alarming. When you hear your kids say something you do that’s ugly, it provides a gentle reminder of bad behavior. This has to be a taste of the bigger judgment in the Millennium. The judgment will not be harsh, but just the right amount to bring self awareness to the matter.

Palm Saturday
Jesus died about 3pm on Nisan 14. This was ‘between the evenings’, noon being the first evening, 6pm being the second. This rules out Nisan 16 for the resurrection, as that would be a maximum of one and three quarter days from 3pm Nisan 14. This can’t satisfy the prophecy of Jonah: three days and three nights in the tomb. Therefore, he rose on Nisan 17th, before dawn. Scripture tells us that he rose on the first Sabbath in the count of seven to Pentecost. Therefore, Nisan 10 was also a Sabbath. Palm Sunday was actually Palm Saturday!
“Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying, ‘On the tenth of this month they are each one to take a lamb for themselves, according to their fathers’ households, a lamb for each household. Now if the household is too small for a lamb, then he and his neighbor nearest to his house are to take one according to the number of persons in them; according to what each man should eat, you are to divide the lamb. Your lamb shall be an unblemished male a year old; you may take it from the sheep or from the goats. You shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month, then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel is to kill it between the evenings.” Exodus 12:3-6
From the Tenth of the month when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, to the Fourteenth of the month, Jesus was examined to determine if he had any blemish or spot. No one could find fault as hard as they tried.
“As they were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed Him. And two blind men sitting by the road, hearing that Jesus was passing by, cried out, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!” The crowd sternly told them to be quiet, but they cried out all the more, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!” And Jesus stopped and called them, and said, “What do you want Me to do for you?” They *said to Him, “Lord, we want our eyes to be opened.” Moved with compassion, Jesus touched their eyes; and immediately they regained their sight and followed Him. When they had approached Jerusalem and had come to Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied there and a colt with her; untie them and bring them to Me. If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord has need of them,’ and immediately he will send them.” This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet:
“Say to the daughter of Zion,
‘Behold your King is coming to you,
Gentle, and mounted on a donkey,
Even on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.’”
The disciples went and did just as Jesus had instructed them, and brought the donkey and the colt, and laid their coats on them; and He sat on the coats. Most of the crowd spread their coats in the road, and others were cutting branches from the trees and spreading them in the road. The crowds going ahead of Him, and those who followed, were shouting,
“Hosanna to the Son of David;
Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord;
Hosanna in the highest!”
When He had entered Jerusalem, all the city was stirred, saying, “Who is this?” And the crowds were saying, “This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth in Galilee.” Matthew 20:29-21:11

Matthew 28:2-4
“and lo, there came a great earthquake, for a messenger of the Lord, having come down out of heaven, having come, did roll away the stone from the door, and was sitting upon it, and his countenance was as lightning, and his clothing white as snow,
and from the fear of him did the keepers shake, and they became as dead men.” Matthew 28:2-4
Sometime around dawn, as the women arrived, there was a great earthquake. Will there be a great earthquake around the dawn of the Millennium?
“Behold, a day is coming for the Lord when the spoil taken from you will be divided among you. For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the houses plundered, the women ravished and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city. Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle. In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south. You will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel; yes, you will flee just as you fled before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord, my God, will come, and all the holy ones with Him!” Zechariah 14:1-5
Aren’t these two accounts similar? An angelic being, white as snow, comes down with a huge earthquake, and they are very afraid. Perhaps this is reading too much into the resurrection morning account, but who knows?

Matthew 28:1
Young’s literal translation of Matthew 28:1 is:
“And on the eve of the sabbaths, at the dawn, toward the first of the sabbaths, came Mary the Magdalene, and the other Mary, to see the sepulchre,”.
Most other translations render this the ‘first of the week’. Isn’t that interesting? Young’s is right. Jesus arose on a Saturday, not Sunday! It should be the first Sabbath in the count of seven regular weekly Sabbaths to Pentecost. Isn’t that interesting?? Is this showing that the resurrection of both first and second born will be completed before dawn of the Millennial Sabbath? The first 500 years of the Millennium are ‘evening’ and dark. It is also interesting that 1 Kings 6:1 says that it was 480 years from the Exodus to the beginning of construction of Solomon’s temple. 20 years were required to complete the temple and Solomon’s palace. That’s 500 years.

Sex and the Sabbath
There is no scripture forbidding sex on the Sabbath. Isn’t that interesting? Perhaps because the Marriage of the Lamb will occur on the Millennial Sabbath. They will have children. Sex will be involved. It’s interesting the myth that Jesus was secretly married to Mary Magdalene. He will actually marry the church and Israel.

Hebrews 4
“Therefore, let us fear if, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short of it. For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also; but the word they heard did not profit them, because it was not united by faith in those who heard. For we who have believed enter that rest, just as He has said,
“As I swore in My wrath,
They shall not enter My rest,”
although His works were finished from the foundation of the world. For He has said somewhere concerning the seventh day: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”; and again in this passage, “They shall not enter My rest.” Therefore, since it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly had good news preached to them failed to enter because of disobedience, He again fixes a certain day, “Today,” saying through David after so long a time just as has been said before,
“Today if you hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts.”
For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that. So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His. Therefore let us be diligent to enter that rest, so that no one will fall, through following the same example of disobedience. For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:1-16
Here Paul is very clearly delineating the Millennial Sabbath rest that believers look toward. Those that do not believe will find that day not so restfull as they will be tried by their own actions to repent. Believers who repent ahead of time will have a much easier time. But we will all be disciplined, as Hebrews 12 points out. A restorative discipline, not punitive.

Believer’s Mercy
“Then the men turned away from there and went toward Sodom, while Abraham was still standing before the Lord. Abraham came near and said, “Will You indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked? Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city; will You indeed sweep it away and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty righteous who are in it? Far be it from You to do such a thing, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked are treated alike. Far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth deal justly?” So the Lord said, “If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare the whole place on their account.” And Abraham replied, “Now behold, I have ventured to speak to the Lord, although I am but dust and ashes. Suppose the fifty righteous are lacking five, will You destroy the whole city because of five?” And He said, “I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there.” He spoke to Him yet again and said, “Suppose forty are found there?” And He said, “I will not do it on account of the forty.” Then he said, “Oh may the Lord not be angry, and I shall speak; suppose thirty are found there?” And He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.” And he said, “Now behold, I have ventured to speak to the Lord; suppose twenty are found there?” And He said, “I will not destroy it on account of the twenty.” Then he said, “Oh may the Lord not be angry, and I shall speak only this once; suppose ten are found there?” And He said, “I will not destroy it on account of the ten.” As soon as He had finished speaking to Abraham the Lord departed, and Abraham returned to his place.” Genesis 18:22-33
Abraham was very concerned about justice, leaning to the side of mercy. Although God’s wrath can be severe, he will spare the wicked if but one righteous person is present. With the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Lot and his family had to leave before God would pour out his wrath.

Bible Chronology
While perusing websites having to do with prophecy and end times matters, it is striking how most have the wrong chronology. Bishop Usher’s famous dating of Adam to 4004BC is perhaps the most famous. Many websites don’t even bother with chronology and instead use astronomical signs or guesses about where Daniel’s seventieth week falls. They almost uniformly assume a human antichrist reigning for seven years, followed by an apocalyptic sudden return of Jesus. Even though parts of this interpretation may be correct, it ignores many other features of the second coming, not to mention timing. Many guess that Jesus will return in 2017 or 2024 or 2028. I’d be willing to bet they’re all wrong. It is for this reason the ungodly: “They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” 2 Peter 3:4
Wasn’t what their forefathers said at the first coming? They were convinced he was not the Messiah. It will be the same the second time around. Jesus first advent ended dramatically. But it started virtually unnoticed. It will be the same the second time around.

Isaiah 27
“In that day the Lord will start His threshing from the flowing stream of the Euphrates to the brook of Egypt, and you will be gathered up one by one, O sons of Israel. It will come about also in that day that a great trumpet will be blown, and those who were perishing in the land of Assyria and who were scattered in the land of Egypt will come and worship the Lord in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.” Isaiah 27:12-13
What day it this referring to? The Sabbath Millennium? Possibly. What is the great trumpet? Is this a great judgment heading westward from the Euphrates? It seems that this is hinting about the destruction of the Assyrians, then their resurrection.
