“Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took some of every kind of clean animal and some of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.” Genesis 8:20
The first thing Noah did when he came out of the ark after the flood was to build an altar. If we take Noah’s Flood as a prophecy about the second coming of Christ, it may suggest the building of another temple 370+ years after the start of Jesus’ second coming. Ezekiel 40-48 gives great detail about a temple that was never built – probably because it’s future. The building of this temple will likely coincide with the rebirth of the ancient Israelites – David, Elijah, etc. Ezekiel 40-48 mentions David multiple times as the prince of Israel. “Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord. He will turn the hearts of the fathers back to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, so that I will not come and strike the land with complete destruction.” Malachi 4:5-6
